The last time I presented a session was at the final PASS Summit in November 2020, so it is time to get back on the virtual conference trail again.
- Columbus Ohio User Group, 8 April 2021 (Columbus OH, USA)
For the Columbus group, I will present Managing and monitoring SQL Server on Linux from the command line, which has been an interesting session over the years to tweak as Microsoft has made continued improvements to SQL Server on Linux.
- SLC and UC SQL Server User Group, 15 April 2021 (Salt Lake City UT, USA)
For my Utah friends — including the incomparable Andrea Allred — my talk Database administration through the ages will remind data professionals that despite all the new technology buzzwords flying around, as long as you know your basics they will stand you in good stead.
- LA Data Platform User Group, 19 May 2021 (Los Angeles CA, USA)
Finally, the Los Angeles group will be hearing Back to the future with temporal tables. Given my love for the film Back to the Future, it’s only fitting that I get to present this in the same area the movie was filmed.
As a reminder, you can always find out when I’ll next be speaking about the Microsoft Data Platform on my Speaking page.
